As a registered acupuncturist and applied movement neurology practitioner, Samantha loves the philosophy of Chinese medicine where to be truly healthy a person needs to be in balance within themselves and with their environment. Samantha loves helping her patients achieve this balance through a holistic diagnosis that looks at what is out of balance with in their body and in their life, she specifically checks the digestive system as it is the foundation of good health, then uses her treatments to teach the patient how to gain balance through:

-Acupuncture

-Gua sha (a massage technique with a tool)

-Moxa (using mugwort to heat a body that is too cool)

-Tui na (chinese massage)

-Chinese nutritional principals

-Movement and functional neurology to train the body to learn new patterns of being

Samantha is passionate about training her patients to learn to treat themselves, which is her goal for every treatment plan.

As a former elite athlete she knows the pain and confusion of post concussion syndrome and really enjoys helping others to find their balance after such a difficult injury.

She is also very passionate about helping female athletes with menstrual issues that either inhibit their athletics or just make life a little more difficult or painful. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine have for thousands of years focused on women's health and strives to have every woman have a normal menstrual cycle which is regular, with no pain and easy on the body. She is incredibly grateful to have found a medicine that aligns with her values and can have so much impact on her patients lives.

Samantha was formerly an elite cyclist, racing internationally in the U.S., France, Belgium, and the UK. She was also an elite rower and a varsity runner.
